花果山

   花果山位于连云港市区东南，为云台山脉的一部分。原名苍梧山，亦称青峰顶，因吴承恩创作神话小说《西游记》取材于此，故名花果山。山中林木茂盛，青竹滴翠，云海起伏，古有"东海第一胜境"之誉。

   花果山素有"孙猴子老家"之称。这里峰奇石怪，花果满山，景色神奇秀丽，中国著名的古典神话小说《西游记》就是以此山为背景，创造了一个活灵活现的美猴王的形象，花果山也因此而名扬天下。今山上仍可见小说中所假托的遗迹，如猴石、老君堂、南天门、水帘洞、七十二洞、八戒石、唐僧崖等，此外还有阿育王塔、三元宫及郁林观石刻等多处胜景。如今的花果山上，庙宇亭阁大都修葺一新，自然景色正如吴承恩所描写的那样："瑶草奇花不谢，青松翠柏长春，仙桃常结果，修竹每留云"。连通往花果的要道口猴嘴山上的天然石猴依旧神气十足地在看守门户。进入神奇的花果山，就仿佛进入了一个奇幻的神话世界。
